The Indian Community Centre (ICC) serves as an important cultural and community hub for Belfast’s Indian community. Located within the centre is the Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, the only Hindu temple in Northern Ireland.
The ICC was established to support cultural connection, community life, and shared celebration for people of Indian heritage living in Belfast. Over time it has become a welcoming space where traditions, festivals, language, food, and faith continue to be celebrated across generations.
For many families, the temple and community centre provide a connection to heritage and identity while also helping communities feel at home in Belfast.
